GET TO KNOW ME
Hi! I’m Kayla.
But some people prefer to call me Kay. I’m 25 years old and a 2019 graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelors of Fine Art (BFA) in graphic design and art history! Art has always been in my life, as far back as I can remember. Silly little chalk drawings, graphite sketches on the sides of homework assignments, small-scale paintings made for friends; my love for art just grew and grew the older I got (and that still rings true today). In high school I learned about graphic design and from then on I was set on becoming a graphic designer, whatever it took. Fast forward to 2021 and I’m working as a junior designer for World Cinema Inc. in Houston, and doing freelancing on the side! Outside of graphic design, I love enjoying coffee with friends, playing card and board games, spending time with my dogs, and listening to music. I sorely want to travel the world more - I particularly want to visit Rome, Venice, Athens, and Paris!
